Support for Self-Harm & Suicidal Thoughts
Our services
talking about self-harm
You won’t scare me.
You won’t overwhelm me.
You won’t be punished for being honest.
Many people avoid talking about self-harm or suicidal thoughts because they fear being judged or hospitalized. In reality, being honest about these experiences helps us better understand what you’re carrying and how to support you safely. My goal is to create a space where you can talk openly without fear of being punished for your honesty. Together we’ll focus on understanding the underlying pain, developing practical coping strategies, and creating a collaborative safety plan that supports you through difficult moments.
Whenever possible, I prioritize collaborative safety planning and supporting you in the least restrictive way that is clinically appropriate. Hospitalization is considered only when there is a significant and immediate risk to your safety that cannot be managed in outpatient treatment.
